Notes Grigby Joshua, the son of a distinguished family of jurists, settled after his studies at Cambridge, 1756 in London, Gray's Inn as a lawyer down. In 1771 he inherited the manor "Drinkstone Park" in Suffolk. Grigby belonged to the resolute opponents of the slave trade and was elected to Parliament 1784-1790
