Soviet period (1930–1991)

Modern history and worldwide acceptance (1991–present)

Delivery

- Ashiq-instrumentalist. Din bɔŋɔ nyɛla Ashiqs din mali yuli wuligi ti salo, yilibu mini saz dɛmbu, ni saha shɛŋa waa wabu.
- Ashiq-narrators tooi nyɛla din niŋdi ninyino saha shɛŋa bee ka saz pahi di zuɣu bee ŋun ŋmɛri duduk, ka wari waa, n-tirisi chani o sani.
Genres of Azerbaijani Ashiq music
mali niŋAzerbaijani Ashiq yɛltɔɣatamalisi balibu shɛŋa n-nyɛ goshma, dastan, ustadnameh, n-ti pahi di yɛltɔɣatamalisi ni be shɛm — gerayli, divani, tajnis.[8]
Goshma
mali niŋGoshma n-nyɛ Ashiq salima yɛltɔɣatamalisi balishɛli din niŋ bayana. "Syllables" kalinli din be goshma ni tooi paai pia ni yini. Goshma maŋmaŋa gba nyɛla din pu balibu pam kamani Gozallama — balishɛli din wuhiri ʒilɛli viɛlim mini ninsali yɛltɔɣa, Tashlama — balishɛli din zaɣisiri ninsalinima tuun yoya, n-ti pahi Agyt — yɛla teebu kari.[12]
Dastan
mali niŋDastan (Tɛmplet:Lang-fa "story"[13][14]) nyɛla balishɛli, din Eastern yɛltɔɣatamalisi ni ko, amaa ka lahi be Western yɛltɔɣatamalisi ni (n-ti tabili kali salima). Dastans ni, ashiqs kahigiri la niya suma, yurilim lahabaya mini taarihi yɛltɔɣa di kpa talahi.[15][16]
